Hey guys, only 1 day left before the wide release of The House Bunny (for USA and Canada). I have added a couple of new clips including a lovely interview with Jay Leno. All new videos (like usual) are available in the video box below and in the multimedia section.
Todd is working on the pictures from last night’s event at the Playboy mansion, he should have them added by tomorrow. Anna is holding the 27th position this week in the Hollywood starmeter. I’m willing to bet that she will be top 5 by next week or the one after. We are very proud of Anna’s accomplishments throughout the years, and hope that The House Bunny will be a success. Well Anna fans, the day is almost here. 2 more days until "The House Bunny" opens in a theater near you. But tonight is the premiere of the film at the famous Playboy Mansion in Los Angeles. Anna and her entire family, including her borther, will be attending the event and her bro will fill us in on all the details of the evening. In the mean time, I have uploaded about 90 new pictures today, including ones from the New York City premiere of the film this past Monday. I will also be posting the picture from the premiere here in L.A. as soon as they are available to us. I have also updated the MTV Movie Awards 2008 gallery with a few new pictures, as well as some pictures from unknown events. Just check out the gallery for all the new pictures posted, just look of the galleries in BOLD which denotes the ones with new pictures uploaded to them. For those of you that are over 17 years old, Anna's issue of Playboy Magazine (She Isn't Nude) is now available on magazine stands and books near you. For those of you that aren't 17 just yet, no worries, I have posted the 2 pictures of Anna in the magazine in the gallery for you guys. I will be posting her 20Qs interview from the magazine in the coming days for you all to enjoy the read, and it is enjoyable. Fred is also working as I type this on new video clips of Anna in various interview promoting the film. He should have those up in the next day or so. We will be finally launching a new poll by Friday, your raing on a scale of 1 to 10 or out of 5 stars of what you thought of the movie. Sup guys, lots of news on this update :). Anna has been named Hugh Hefner’s “honorary” girlfriend. She is very grateful for his support and was thrilled to see him act (he appears briefly in The House Bunny). The premiere will take place at the Playboy mansion. For those of you who were in our forum before we switched servers, you might remember “bro”. Well… lucky “bro” will be attending to the premiere at the mansion. MTV is holding a contest to promote the movie, you can win a trip for two to Los Angeles to see the premiere (you have to live in the US to be alegible). The official site of the movie was revamped, they added new interactive sections and new downloads.
Before Anna was in Sacry movie, even before Lover’s Lane and Eden, she played in a TV movie called Deception: A Mother's Secret. And about a month ago, I was able to get my hands on it. It happens to be Anna’s TV debut. She was 14 years old and she played a character named Lyz. Since the movie was made in 1991, the only format available is in VHS. I don’t have the equipment to encode from VHS technologies to a computer format, but gladly Todd does! So I sent it to Todd and he was able to retrieve clips of Anna and put it on the computer for all of you fans to enjoy. Btw I really liked the movie, it was dramatic yet very humane. Anna was so young and little in this production but we can still recognize her.
Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs is confirmed to be made in 3D. It would be the first digital 3-D release for Sony Pictures Animation. I’m no longer sure if Anna will be playing one of the lead voices in it, it’s still in discussion I believe, but we will keep an eye on it. The release date has been pushed back to the 15th January 2010.
On other news, It was Jack and Karen Faris’s 40th anniversary last week end (Anna’s parents). They celebrated it on Whidbey Island north of Seattle (close to where Anna grew up). She was present (of course) amongst nearly a hundred other guests. So on that we congratulate Jack and Karen and wish them many more years of happiness and love ahead.

Hey all. I just have a little quick update for you all today. With the release date of "The House Bunny" growing ever so closer, expect to see more of Anna in the news regarding it and other things in her career. As you all know, Fred reported about a new project Anna is doing in the post below this. So right now she has 2 new projects for 2009 set. No new word on the status of "Inferno" and the rumors about "Scary Movie 5" and if she is returning for that. Anyways, I have posted 5 new interesting pictures of her from the latest issue of Vanity Fair Magazine. The magazine only as a couple pictures but their website had the rest of them. You can check them out under the "Vanity Fair" section in the picture gallery. The new ones are of her in white, which is all I will tell you about them cuz you need to see for yourself. We also got a tip that she is also in the upcoming issue of In Style magazine. I believe it is the newest one out or the next. We don't have it just yet but will soon hopefully. I am still working on doing the screen captures of Anna from the "Mama's Boy" DVD and hope to have them done soon, like I keep saying. One final note for you all. Don't forget to tune into your tv tomorrow night (6/22) on the Spike TV network for the 2008 Guy's Choice Awards which Anna will be appearing on in the beautiful red dress we saw from the pictures posted in the gallery from eariler in the month. Hi guys,
Anna will be lending her voice for Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs, a new project based on a book under the same title. It will be released on the 27th of March 2009. The story is about a scientist trying to solve world hunger, somehow manages to make the sky rain food. And interestingly, Anna will be playing a weather girl! It sounds like a fun movie, we will make sure to keep an eye on it. She has previously lent her voice twice in 2 different episodes of King of the Hill back in 2002 and 2004.
A new clip of The House Bunny is now available in the multimedia section. I noticed that in the multimedia section, there were all types of video files, and sometimes that can cause accessibility problems… meaning that depending on your computer, you may or may not be able to watch the video. From now on, all new clips will be in flash so everyone can watch. I have also added a box on the right column (homepage) to announce when a new clip is available.
In the months to come, as we are getting closer to the release of The House Bunny, we will be expecting more of you visitors coming on the site. TrongAn, owner of Penwood Technology who is hosting us has generously donated more space and bandwidth to help out with the extra incoming traffic, so a big thanks goes to him! Well all, I am back just like I promised I would this week. And it's a good thing too, there are bonus for you all this week. As I stated in my last update, I was going to have the pictures of Anna from her appearance on the 2008 MTV Movie Awards and will do. Anna's appearance on the show was with her co-stars from "The House Bunny" and she was introduced the Pussycat Dolls' performance. Only about 1 to 2 minutes airtime is all she had. So you can check out the 12 pictures that we have from the awards show in the picture section. And here is the bonus, the MTV awards wasn't the only event she attended this weekend. Anna was also at the Spike's Guy Choice Awards 2008 on Friday. She was there with her co-star Emma Stone but not sure if she was presenting or what. The show will air on the Spike TV Network on June 22 at 10pm. Check your local listing for the correct time and channel in your area. But we do have pictures from that event in the gallery, 50 of them. And they are gorgeous and beautiful ones to boot. You have to see for yourself. Final note, "Mama's Boy" is official out today in your local DVD retailer so make sure to get your copy. I will be posting some screen captures from the DVD hopefully within the next week or so. Also, I believe I am finally going to make a new music video to add to our collection in the next week or so too with the newest pictures of Anna from the gallery. That's all for now! L8R All!!!!!! |
